Description of the job profile
The Kindergarten Teacher generally has the following responsibilities: instructs kindergarten students individually and in groups; teaches them basic social and academic skills based on set curriculum and government-defined standards. Applies teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' various needs and interests; keeps abreast of new kindergarten teaching methodologies. Confers with parents, other teachers, counselors and administrators to discuss a student's progress and resolve behavioral and/or academic problems. Observes and evaluates student performance; provides guidance or assistance in various areas of development. Teach basic skills including letters, numbers, elemental natural and social science, music, art, literature and behavioral skills to children in the kindergarten phase to advance their physical, mental, and social development and maximize their potential in a positive and safe environment.
