Associated Partners

As a result of the exploitation activity a number of associated partners officially joined the project in order to contribute to the improvement of the project impact on their target groups and to ensure the project sustainability by continuing using the project deliverables in the next years.

The associate partners of the School&Work project are organizations interested in the prevention of early school leaving.  All associated partners share the project objectives and are willing to contribute to their achievement.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
Fundació Universitat-Empresa de les Illes Balears (FUEIB as an acronym) is a non-profit organization which is participated by both scopes of Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) and local companies. It is the bridge between the University and the society of the Balearic Islands.

It works to encourage and promote activities aimed generally to the promotion of the education, training, research, innovation, culture and sport in all aspects of the economic and social life that can contribute to improving the society, in which the Foundation is inserted, and help to form the persons integrally.

It is aimed at people who are related to the University, eventually or permanently, or live in it.

The Foundation works on different objectives:
1) Promote the Labour insertion and guidance of the university Postgraduates and students, through company traineeships, job offers (through a virtual system and the social networks), and projects of creation of new companies.
2) Managing and Taking part in European and national initiatives and programs with projects on Training, Innovation, Lifelong Learning, Transfer of Technology, ICT and employment between others.
3) Proposing the study, research and training programs that are directed to respond to current and future needs of the society in general.
4) Enhancing the technology transfer at the University through the advice, encouragement and eventual participation in companies for the use, dissemination and commercialization of this technology.
5) Collaborating in the creation, establishment, construction and facilities management, and centres destined for university teaching, research or research support.
6) Enhancing synergies in the social use of the University facilities, in line with the objectives of the Foundation, facilitating especially the access to the sport of certain collectives such as disabilities, etc…
7) Promoting the practice of physical activity and sport among the university community

FUEIB collaborates with different stakeholders, as SMEs, universities, and Public administration to achieve these goals.
HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS
FUEIB can disseminate the results achieved in the School & Work project using different communication systems as social networks, website and databases. It has a large network of members, from actors of the economic world, as young university and other public and private institutions of the Balearic Islands, which send the results. Also it can exploit the results, if it’s necessary.
