Activity concerned:
1 - Toolkit “Identification of Student Potentials”

Objectives of activities carried out:
The objective of the first intellectual output “Identification of Student Potentials” is to work cooperatively with the partners to develop a tool kit to be used by school counsellors and teachers to design and implement personalised guidance services to motivate students at risk of early school leaving to complete their studies, through the analysis of the personal attitudes of the student and the matching with what is requested by the job market.

Within this the following activities are planned for each partner:
- Activity 1.2. Selection and involvement of 8 teachers, 2 school counsellors and 30 students at risk of early school leaving
- Activity 1.3. Collection of 5 operative tools to identify the students’ hidden potential. E.g. psychological questionnaires, aptitude tests
- Activity 1.4. Collection of 5 operative tools to assess students existing skills. E.g. tests, assessment questionnaires etc
- Activity 1.5. On the basis of the tool identified above, creation of 2 interactive wizard tests to guide the counsellors and teacher in unveiling the students abilities and inclinations
- Activity 1.6 and 7. Dissemination of the intellectual output
- Activity 1.8. Testing, by each partner, of the intellectual output with at least 2 school counsellors, 8 teachers and their students. Collection of the evaluation questionnaires and production of an evaluation report of the intellectual output

Description of activities carried out:
To support the implementation of this intellectual output, EuroEd, as partner in the project was involved in monthly internal project meetings organised with the EuroEd project team members to discuss the progress of the project and the terms of the activities to be implemented for the identification of the students potentials, to check the team responsibilities and to monitor the quality of the tasks and results obtained.

For the activity 1.2, EuroEd carried out the following activities:
- Desk research on the schools which can act as potential participants in the project
- Face to face, online and by telephone meetings with the schools principals for the project presentation and invitation to join the partnership
- Translation of the forms for the schools representatives: Form with the role of the school, the letter of support and the participation form
- Involvement of 9 schools, 9 counsellors, 33 teachers, 456 students and 109 students with fewer opportunities.
- Support offered to the schools representatives for filling in the registration forms
- Permanent collaboration and communication with the target groups involved
- Uploading data and tracking the updates on the target group.

For the activity 1.3, EuroEd carried out the following activities:
- Online research on identifying operative tools to identify the students’ hidden potential. E.g. psychological questionnaires, aptitude tests
- Emails and face to face meetings to discuss with the teachers and school councellors on providing data on operative tools to identify the students’ hidden potential. E.g. psychological questionnaires, aptitude tests
- Translation of the 1.D – Form for collecting aptitudes tests content into Romanian
- Collection of data from the teachers and school councellors on the examples of aptitude tests for students
- Editing, translation and filling in the 1.D – Form for collecting aptitudes tests forms
- Uploads on the project website on the aptitude tests for students identified.

For the activity 1.4, EuroEd carried out the following activities:
- Online research on identifying operative tools to assess students existing skills. E.g. tests, assessment questionnaires etc
- Emails and face to face meetings to discuss with the teachers and school councellors on providing data on operative tools to assess students existing skills. E.g. tests, assessment questionnaires etc
- Translation of the 1.E – Form for collecting skills tests content into Romanian
- Collection of data from the teachers and school councellors on the examples of skills tests for students
- Editing, translation and filling in the 1.E – Form for collecting skills tests forms
- Uploads on the project website on the skills tests for students identified.

For the activity 1.5, EuroEd carried out the following activities:
- Organization of meetings with the group of teachers and school councellors to present and discuss on the collected tests on skills and aptitudes for students and discussions on the tests they use in schools
- Activities to collect data and work on creation of interactive wizard tests to guide the counsellors and teacher in unveiling the students abilities and inclinations
- Activities to work together with teachers and school councellors to elaborate the content of the wizards
- Translation of the 1.F – Interactive wizard template
- Working on filling in the 1.F – Interactive wizard template forms

Within activities 1.6 and 1.7, EuroEd developed the following dissemination activities:
- Translation of the project presentation into Romanian and distribution of the presentation among schools
- Translation of the project brochure into Romanian and distribution of the brochure in various dissemination events or promoting opportunities
- Posts on Facebook Project Page with links related to the project purposes
- Posts on Facebook EuroEd institutional Page with promotion of the project
- Sending informative emails to the institutional network of contacts (schools, teachers, counselors and students) to promote the project
- Working on identifying teachers or school counselors communities with the aim to create links with the project.

Within Activity 1.8, EuroEd developed the following activities:
- Translation of the 1.H – Testimonial and Evaluation Questionnaires for end users into Romanian
- Emails and direct contacts to schools to present the testing activity and to invite the teachers/counselors to check and test the resources under IO1
- Support for the teachers/counselors/students in filling in the evaluation forms and provide testimonials and comments on the project portal
- Working on collecting data from the questionnaires and filling in the 1.H – Tool for questionnaires analysis_RO
- Elaboration of the 1.I – Evaluation report on testing activity_RO
