2 - Toolkit “Skills to succeed in the job market”
Objectives of activities carried out:
The second intellectual output created by the project partners is the toolkit "Skills to succeed in the job market" that will be designed, implemented and made available to be used by school counsellors and teachers to plan and implement personalised guidance services to motivate students at risk of early school leaving to complete their studies, through the analysis of the skills that are fundamental to enter and succeed in the job market and that are provided at school.
The Toolkit will be divided in 3 Areas:
Area 1 – European Job Profiles
Area 2 – Necessary Skills
Area 3 – Entrepreneurial spirit
Description of activities carried out:
The Lithuanian university of educational sciences organized meetings with the school teachers and counsellors involved into the project and discussed with them about the most required job profiles in the national labour market.During the meetings it was also agreed that each school involved into the project finds out about Crowdfunding platforms and tools for promotion of entrepreneurial spirit among students on the internet and sends the links to the local coordinator I. Navickiene.The requirements provided by the project coordinator were analysed and ten job positions most often needed in the Lithuanian job market were identified.
All the links and tools for promotion of entrepreneurial spirit among students on the internet were uploaded on the Project portal..
10 job profiles have been uploaded on the School&Work website with all the data and images included.Links to on-line learning objects and crowdfunding platforms to promote entrepreneurial spirit among students are available on the project portal.
Outcomes:
Identification and publication of the most requested job profiles at national level.
Links to on-line learning objects and crowdfunding platforms to promote entrepreneurial spirit among students are available and easily accessible on the project portal. The toolkit 2 will be used by school counsellors and teachers while planing and implementing personalised guidance services to motivate students at risk of early school leaving to complete their studies, through the analysis of the skills that are fundamental to enter and succeed in the job market.
Ten job profiles, several online courses and links to the crowdfunding platforms are available on the Portal in the Skills&Jobs section. Evaluation questionnaires for this activity have been collected and the evaluation report was sent to the project coordinator ( PIXEL).
Evaluation of the work undertaken:
The activities have been carried out according to the project planning with good results.
