The Intellectual output “Video gallery “ is useful tool for teachers, counsellors and students as it provides real stories revealing why education at school is important to be successful in life and at work. Watching video testimonials and reflecting on them might increase students’ motivation to learn and to choose that profession which is presented by the entrepreneurs or employees. Real life cases on the labour market highlight the importance of completing school education for being successful at work. Therefore I think that these videos will inspire students not to leave school too early.

I have used the videos with my students, and after watching them, we have discussed some ideas. Real examples help others to understand their own problems and challenges.

Image is a good dissemination tool for students and variety of the array of profile could certainly motivate them. The videos show students examples of multiple lives and career paths, contrary to the linear career they would imagine when they finish school.

Examples play an important role in our life, in choosing one’s career. They have an exceptional persuasive power. I think they will have an important contribution to make my students complete their studies. The videos are a very good tool in raising students’ awareness about the role that school has in our life, how important it is to follow our dreams and achieve our potential. The video are about real people who follow their dreams in spite of problems and they have succeeded in their life. They set good examples to follow.

These success stories present interesting cases, which we, teachers, can use with their students in classes. It is well known how powerful examples can be. They can be effective ways to improve learning and experience as students learn better from examples than from logical development of a theory. The videos provide students with valuable lessons of life and examples to follow. Due to modern technology the interviews can be brought into the classrooms; virtual chats enable students themselves to interview the entrepreneurs and find answers to their own questions.

The variety of different profiles and as a motivational instrument. Do the videos inspire students not to abandon school before completing their educational path? I believe so, it empowers the idea of education from different paths and the importance of staying motivated and focused on what you do.

Most Belgian video were shot by students from "Collège Sainte-Véronique". During the final event, the teacher who coordinated them (Isabelle Marx) said that participating in this activity had the following beneffits for the students:

- It is a rewarding project, it is someting they can uise in their CV.
- This is a project with an "end product"
- The project made the students think about their personal project (higher studies, career...)
- They realised that a professional path is not necessarily linear. There can be several professional paths (possibly resuming studies or training) and not one single path.
- It made them understand they are in lifelong learning.

One technical comment:
This may be related to the internet connection, but having all videos on a same page makes it quite long to upload the page. Having a reduced number of videos per page, or not having the video imbedded in this page (but in one page dedicated to each video) would solve the problem.

This section offers different professional paths, the advantages and disadvantages of different jobs. Some of the interviewees emphasize on the importance to do something you like, linked with your interests and not with your educational competences. This section highlights many unusual educational paths and this is interesting for the students with schooling difficulties. Other interviewees stopped going to school quite early and experienced different jobs before finding the one. The determination to work and to be invested in what you do is rewarding, even with no diplomas. Restart a training after finding what you want to do is possible. Unusual educational and career paths are rewarded.

This section is interesting because it offers different educational and career paths, sometimes unusual, and that might be a good approach for the students in search of themselves, who don’t know what to do. The idea is to show them that the educational training may be different from the job you do.

This section of interviews with entrepreneurs, employees and successful people is really interesting. It gives real and more concrete information about the reality of different jobs. These videos are a way, for the students, to find information about different jobs but in a more amusing way.

This section of interviews with entrepreneurs, employees and successful people is really interesting. It gives real knowledge about the reality of a job and about the academic and personal skills that helped these interviewees to succeed. The interviews from other countries give us an overview of the European job market and of the necessary skills to succeed in this market.

The portal is relevant because students see video every day.

The video section is important because the educational path teaches you to deal withn difficultiesnand helps you to have a basic culture.

The educational path is very important for anything you want to choose in your life. School can help you to grow and also to decide what you want to do in the world of work..

The video section is important because we can realize that school is important to ensure a future in the world of work

One videos shows that a guy made a “zig zag” education path but at the end he managed to find a job he liked . He claimed the school had a real influence on his actual job.
