The aim of the project is to give evidence to the importance that companies and job market are giving when recruiting staff resources, to specific professional skills and competences, but also to qualification and transversal knowledge that can be achieved only successfully completing the educational process; to provide school teachers and counsellors with the necessary skills and tools for better understanding pupils’ individual attitudes, interests and potential skills; to establish a direct cooperation between the world of work and schools.
E-learning based course for teachers and counsellors – a toolkit especially needed and valuable for teacher training on how to deal with students at risk of early school leaving and motivate them to continue and complete their educational path at school, by identifying their attitudes and specific skills, and motivating them to study by giving evidence to the importance of acquiring the transversal skills that are required by the companies and recruiting services. Collection of video interviews with entrepreneurs and success people in “Video Gallery” highlights the importance of not abandoning school too early and provides testimonials encouraging students to stay at school and complete their education.
