Description of the job profile
The sale representative sells his company’s products or services. Most of them specialise in selling within a particular industry, such as pharmaceuticals, consumer goods or engineering components. The main tasks are:
- Making appointments to meet new and existing customers;
- Understanding customer’s need;
- Making presentation to promote new products and special deals;
- Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments;
- Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by telephone;
- Watching the competitors and the products they are offering.
