Aptitude Tests

These tests measure the aptitudes of the students.

These tests, identified and reviewed by the project experts, should be used by teachers and school counsellors to support students in the identification of their aptitudes.

In this context an aptitude can be defined as a component of a competency to do a certain kind of work at a certain level, which can also be considered "talent". Aptitudes may be physical or mental. Aptitude is not developed knowledge, understanding, learned or acquired abilities (skills) or attitude. The innate nature of aptitude is in contrast to achievement, which represents knowledge or ability that is gained through learning.

Description:
Numerical reasoning is the ability to understand, comprehend and draw logical conclusion from numerical data. Numerical reasoning tests tend to vary in format. Often, numerical data will be presented in the form of a graph or table, but this may not always be the case. Numerical reasoning questions will most often be multiple choice format, but occasionally questions may require candidates to manually type the answer. Numerical reasoning tests may be used as stand-alone assessments, or could be used in combination with a variety of different aptitude tests. Also, candidates may be asked to complete a personality questionnaire alongside, or shortly after their numerical reasoning test.

This numerical reasoning test comprises 20 questions and you will have 60 seconds to answer each question. This test will evaluate your ability to work with numerical data. This test consists of three sections:

In questions 1-10 you will be provided with short numerical problems to solve, requiring a number of calculations.

In questions 11-20, you will be given a table of data and required to answer questions based on the information presented in the table.
